This is the third egg that I have done. As I’ve mentioned previously, I am always popping into different charity shops, seeking different and special things for me to bead with. One day I found this porcelain egg and I knew that this was what I wanted for my next project, to cover it in beads but in a unique way. No sparkling crystals, just simple colours.
My favourite colour combination is Black, Red, White and Grey which is the only reason for the colour choice. When I finished this piece I noticed that it was very poppy seed-pod shaped which is why I named it Poppy.
